According to a report, thousands of new social networking sites are born every year. Only a few of them get millions of registered users but they are still far behind top social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter. Recently, we have seen Google+ competing against Facebook and somehow it got more than 25 million users in a period of two months.
That’s because it’s a product of Google. If it hadn’t been a Google’s product, it would never got such a large number in such a short time period. Anyways, I’m here to tell you about the new social network, Diaspora, which aims to be a Facebook alternative. It has already been launched back in September last year but it is still in alpha stage and invite-only. You need an invitation to join Diaspora.
I managed to get into Diaspora. Thanks to Rahul for the Diaspora invite. I’m going to get my hands on this new toy and write a review shortly. By the way, it looks quite a lot like Google+. The interface and colors used by diaspora is much similar to Google+. Lets see what Diaspora has new to offer.

If i can suggest you, i raccomend diasp.org, anyway the pod you choose is not going to change your diaspora experence!! You will always be able to interact with everyone on diaspora!!
