If you’ve been using Internet lately, you must have noticed the war between Google+ and Facebook. Google is trying to take on Facebook by launching a competitor with some awesome features which you won’t find in Facebook. Although, Facebook has tried to make Google+ down by launching a much needed feature Facebook Video Calling which is powered by Skype.
I’ve even heard that some users are now this much addicted to Google+ that they have decided to deactivate their Facebook account. But wait a second, you made this decision because you don’t want to switch browser tabs back and forth between Facebook and Google+. What if I say that you can update your Facebook status right from Google+ homepage or what if you can view your entire Facebook wall inside Google+?
How To Add Facebook Stream To Your Google+ Account
Yes, you heard it right. I’ve found an awesome extension, called ‘Google+ Facebook’, which lets you add the Facebook stream to your Google+ homepage. Once installed, it displays a Facebook icon in the top menu bar, left to the Google+ home icon. The First time, when you click on the Facebook icon, you’ll be asked to connect your Facebook account.
When you’re done with connecting, your Facebook wall stream will appear inside the Google+. You can scroll down to see all the Facebook updates. Also, if you want to update your Facebook status right from the Google+ homepage, just click on the ‘What’s on your Mind’, it will open up a pop-up window where you can type in your status update.
As of now, the extension is currently supporting Chrome and Firefox only but soon it’ll also be available for Internet Explorer, as said by developer of the extension. You can download this extension here.

I thought google+ plus will surpass facebook, but facebook always have a surprise for their competitors. Video calling is another hot stuff in facebook and it will not only dominate other social networking site but also IM like skype and yahoo messenger.

It does not seem to work using Firefox 5 for Mac. It installs, then restarts Firefox but when you click the new FB button it seems to be trying to fetch but never brings in the stream. I tried it twice while logged in to FB on another tab, and then I logged out of FB and tried again. I was never asked to log in to FB.
